“If it’s a morning shoot, we can be up as early as 3 or 4 am, while a night shoot typically lasts from 4 pm till 8 the following morning. In other words, my day revolves around maximum chaos and minimum sleep!” Welcome to the world of Freya Parekh, a 27-year-old freelance movie director who was born in the US, raised in Singapore and studied filmmaking at the University of Southern California’s School of Cinematic Arts.
