Advertising with India Se Magazine is the perfect way to reach high net worth Indians in Singapore, Malaysia, Hongkong, Dubai, Australia, Philippines and Indonesia.
INDIA SE is the first global Indian lifestyle magazine published specifically for NRIs (Non Resident Indians) and PIO (People of Indian Origin) in Asia, Australasia & Dubai.
India Se fills a huge white space in the NRI media universe just at a time when there is huge demand among NRIs globally for a common media platform of their own as they have now reached a critical mass and a critical achievement level in all their countries of domicile and constitute a very significant economic force as well as a force for good in the societies they reside and beyond.
“In good times, people want to advertise
In bad times, they have to.” - Bruce Barton
The magazine is the brainchild of veteran Singapore-based journalist Shobha Tsering Bhalla (former Senior Correspondent at Singapore’s oldest national daily the Straits Times, former Property/Marketing Editor at MediaCorp’s TODAY newspaper and pioneering Managing Editor/Head of Content of Lycos Asia).
India Se has among its regular columnists some of India’s most famous celebrity writers - Shobhaa De, Shashi Tharoor and Mahesh Bhatt as well as a stable of excellent and experienced journalists from around the world.
While India Se is a magazine dedicated to issues that are important to NRIs and PIOs it is not restricted only to these groups of recent Indian migrants. As a cultural and lifestyle magazine, it seeks to connect, inform and entertain all people of Indian origin, who identify themselves culturally, ethnically and emotionally as Indians.
Although it is only 16 issues old India Se has already made quite a mark in the marketplace and has received wide media coverage around the world – BBC interviewed Shobha and featured her on their Asia Business Report and also filmed our official launch party which was aired on BBC’s Asia Today.
Recently, Dr Shashi Tharoor India’s leading diplomat (he was India’s candidate for the post of Secretary-General of the UN) wrote about our magazine in The Hindu newspaper which was also carried in Singapore’s national daily The Straits Times. Following this spate of publicity, in July, leading columnist and author Shobhaa De was also featured on the BBC with our magazine.
We have also entered into a very strategic partnership with the Global Indian International School (GIIS) which has 15 branches of their school spread over Asia , including 3 in Japan & in 1 in New Zealand. With this strategic partnership we have instant distribution/circulation among 10,000 well-to-do NRI and PIO (Overseas Indians) families directly. This is over and above the existing base we have through our other distribution channels.
“India Se”copies are now available on all ‘Jet Airways’, Air India Express and Singapore Airlines (SIA) flights ex Singapore. This gives a tremendous boost to our circulation and readership. We are also available in the lounges of Thai Airways and will soon be seen on Air Mauritius.
The online version of India Se, www.indiaseonline.com, currently is accessible to 10,000 monthly unique users. This initiative will give a lot of visibility to all our advertisers and justify their money spent.
The main pillars of the magazine are Property, Travel, Business & Careers, Education, Lifestyle & Culture (includes art, dance & music, food, fashion, gadgets, weddings etc), Wealth Management, Wellness, Sports (mainly cricket & golf) and Social Welfare.
